Instructor of bass, Jazz Bass and Music Technology at the University of Memphis Main Gigs are Bassist with Bruce Carroll and the Hope Worship Band, Classical and Electric bassist with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra, along with freelance Jazz gigs (solo, bass duo) Current Gear is Fender American Deluxe Jazz, G&L L-2000, Conklin GT-7, MTD Beast Fretless, SWR & GK heads, Eden cabs, George L's and Planet Waves cables, an ever changing array of effects and an old German upright Education at BM, MM, The University of Memphis Ted likes to play chess, puff on cigars and play billiards. He also like to listen to CDs with his cats, Buxetude and Ellington. A frequenter and respected member of alt.guitar.bass newsgroup and founder of AGBWeb - well... it was his idea! His favourite book right now is Farenheit 451 and fave album for now is Miles Davis "Birth of the Cool" or Weather Report "8.30" |
