Tom was spawned in New Jersey in 1966 and these days can be found in Denver, Colorado. He's an Art Director in advertising and is married with a young son. His band is called 399 Shy and there's quite an amusing story behind the name that can be found here. The band consists of Pete on guitar and Hans on drums... oh and Tom on bass!

Tom is very proud of his wife, who is a singer in musical theatre and fronts a blues band. (Ed's note: we all remember the proud announcement on agb ;-)

Mr and Mrs Comber are both animal lovers and currently have two dogs and one cat. The cat goes by the name of 'Fuzz' - must have some connection with Tom's shiny bits.

It has been known for Tom to put pen to paper - or fingers to keys - resulting in some fascinating fiction. Having read some of his stuff, I can tell you that it has a great mix of intrigue, fantastic imagination and a touch of erotica! Tom has begun the long, arduous road toward publication... who knows what this might bring!? We all wish you good luck with that venture, Tom.

Other than that, he's a fairly voracious reader. Currently deep into both Harper Lee's "To Kill a Mockingbird" and "Invisible Monsters" by the author of "Fight Club". Listening to a lot of Jamiroquai, Miles Davis, and (ahem) old-school funkmeisters "The Gap Band".

It should also be mentioned that Tom Comber (aka Tim Bomber), is the person responsible for designing the great bass pic on our homepage.
